About

I'm a facilitator. Most of my work centers at the intersection of power, innovation, and systems.

  • I serve individuals who want to expand their capacity to serve. These individuals are seekers, with clear or emerging visions of how they can serve. They see that they are diminished by themselves and/or by others and want to break that pattern and find a new path for personal expression

  • I serve leaders of communities, movements, and institutions who are seeking to design freedom, flow, and movement into their relational and structural systems to energize the greatest number of people to do their best work.

  • I serve teams who desire to do great things and who want to have fun while doing it. These teams wish to unlock their creative potential but are stuck in old patterns that are keeping them in a way of operating that no longer serves.

The audiences I work most often with are leadership teams in for-profit organizations with 10K employees or more. The work we do together often looks like:

  • Diagnosis: Identify underlying cause and/or contributing factors of a problem through systematic examination (esp. related to culture, group behavior, or system dynamics)

  • Convening for Alignment: Create space for multiple groups to draw value from healthy conflict and align on shared goals, objectives, stories, identities, purpose, ways of operating

  • Workplace Culture: Nurture organization-wide behaviors, attitudes and interactions that promote values and align with organizational missions

  • Organizational governance and design: Establish documentation, structures, and leadership that ensures your organization pursues its stated impact goals and values

  • Shared accountability: Use common/joint metrics or systems to ensure your organization is accountable to the greater good

  • Innovation: Create new approaches to systemic problems in order to keep pace with changes in communities, technologies, or research

  • Empathetic & Participatory Design: Employ design practices which focus on the lived experience of beneficiaries and needs of stakeholders by engaging them in the work of exploring challenges and constructing solutions

  • Leadership development: Identify, promote and nurture leaders within a community, movement or field.
