Open Space

What is an Open Space?

Open Spaces are what keeps us true to the teal evolutionary worldview. It helps up to tap into what is emerging and what is coming up for us at specific moments during TATW and have open conversations with other participants. It's an invitation to talk about any topic that you find interesting or useful. So go over to Spatial Chat and either join a conversation or put out a conversation that you'd be interested in talking about.

Many previous participants have said the connections they've built with others have been the highlight of the event. So we highly encourage you to make connection in conversation.

Open Space has Four Rules and One Law (the Law of Two Feet), and two insects, and a coffee/tea area.

The Four Rules state:

  1. Whoever come are the right people

  2. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have

  3. Whenever it starts is the right time

  4. When it’s over, it’s over

The Law of Two Feet states that:
“If, during the course of the gathering, any person finds themselves in a situation where they are neither learning nor contributing, they can go to some more productive place.”

These spaces are for you to get active, connect and have deeper conversations with a small group.

Think about is what you like to have input on or discuss in a group with conference participants, i.e. what is the biggest challenge you are currently facing in your workplace or you like to share your successful implementing steps with others or did this storytelling session inspire you to take new actions? Every topic is welcome and your experience and willingness to discuss is the key.
