Andreas Holmer is a designer, writer, and entrepreneur. He’s the CEO of MAQE and the Editor of WorkMatters — a weekly newsletter about innovation, agility, and leadership now in its 5th year. Originally from Sweden, Andreas spent a number of years working on Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Seattle before moving to Thailand in 2009.

Outside In — How and why a technology services firm in Thailand is using Rendanheyi to build Resilience and Optionality in pursuit of Personal Fulfillment. MAQE is an 80-person technology services firm with offices in Bangkok and Khon Kaen, Thailand. Founded in 2012, the company designs and builds e-commerce solutions for customers (primarily) in Southeast Asia and (primarily) in the retail and financial sectors. In 2021, experiments with new and better ways of working led the company to adopt Haier's Rendanheyi model. This is a behind-the-scenes account of the transformation that has followed.
