Bio

Carol Ariyibi is a people leader, who is adept at applying her extensive project development expertise to enable transformation through technology, collaborative ways of working and strong strategy execution skills. She believes strongly in intrapreneurship, and empowering individuals and teams through coaching and mentoring. She is a certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Digital Transformation delivery expert, PMO Director, Change Leader (PROSCI certified), and Career Transition coach. She also holds various certifications in project management, project development, product development and change management.
Carol currently leads Corporate Transformation at one of the Top Tier Asset Management companies in Lagos Nigeria where her team partners with subsidiaries within the Group to leverage technology & lean business models to transform their business. As part of various training faculties, she has co-organized and led training workshops for over 800 people on project management, Microsoft productivity tools (Power Platforms, MS Teams), business analysis, change management, and agile product development.
Carol also serves as the Director, Memberships for the Agile Practitioners Association of Nigeria (APAON), a non-profit focused on advocating for Agile in Nigeria and Africa as well as the organizer of the Agile Nigeria Meetup and Business Agility Meetup Nigeria. She is also a Conference speaker, facilitator and advocate for Business Agility as a transformation strategy for Africa.
Outside work and volunteering, Carol loves spending with family, writing, watching movies, teaching young adults, mentoring, and coaching.
